About Olson Moore Consulting
For more than four decades, I’ve helped property owners, families, and investors make confident, defensible decisions in construction and real estate. I built Olson Moore Consulting to give clients something the industry rarely provides: independent, owner‑side expertise grounded in clarity, documentation, and fiduciary‑grade protection.
As a licensed Florida General Contractor, Roofing Contractor, and Ph.D. in Business Administration, my work blends technical depth with a systems‑driven approach. Every recommendation I make is structured, documented, and aligned with one goal — protecting the owner’s interests at every step.
My Approach
My philosophy is simple:
Protect the owner.
Clarify the path.
Document everything.
Clients rely on me for:
Protect the owner.
Clarify the path.
Document everything.
Clients rely on me for:
Independent, unbiased guidance
Clear communication
Structured processes
Hands‑on expertise
A fiduciary mindset focused on protecting their interests
Whether you're managing a construction project, evaluating a property, or resolving a compliance issue, you deserve a trusted expert in your corner.
Why Clients Hire Me
Clients don’t come to me for generic advice — they come to me because they need independent, owner‑side expertise from someone who has actually built, rehabbed, designed, and managed projects for decades. They hire me because:
I answer only to the owner. I don’t take referral fees, I don’t represent contractors, and I don’t have hidden interests. My loyalty is singular and uncompromised.
I see problems before they become expensive. After decades of hands‑on construction and real estate work, I can diagnose issues quickly and accurately — often in minutes.
I bring structure to situations that feel chaotic. Most construction and property issues stem from unclear expectations, missing documentation, or poor oversight. I correct all three.
I communicate clearly and directly. No jargon. No confusion. No guessing. Clients know exactly what’s happening, why it matters, and what to do next.
I protect people from costly mistakes. Whether it’s a renovation, a compliance issue, or a property evaluation, my role is to safeguard the owner’s money, time, and peace of mind.
Clients hire me because they want clarity, protection, and leadership — and they want it from someone who has lived this work for more than forty years.
How I Got Here
My career in real estate and construction began in 1978. What started with investment properties quickly expanded into brokerage, new construction, mortgage brokerage, and residential design. Over the years, I’ve:
Rehabilitated more homes and apartments in Palm Beach County than any other investor of my era
Set a record with a 21‑day single‑family home build
Personally built homes from raw land to Certificate of Occupancy — often with little or no help
Pioneered simultaneous closings for property acquisition
Completed numerous highest‑and‑best‑use conversions
Advised thousands of homeowners, investors, contractors, and aspiring business owners across Florida and Georgia
These experiences shaped my ability to diagnose complex issues quickly, communicate clearly, and guide clients toward practical, defensible solutions.
Today, I work full‑time as a construction and real estate consultant, offering clients unmatched insight drawn from decades of hands‑on experience and proven results.

What I Don’t Do
Clarity matters. Clients deserve to know exactly what I provide — and just as importantly, what I don’t provide. My role is to protect the owner, not to replace contractors or compete with the trades. To keep my work independent and conflict‑free:
I don’t represent contractors. I never work for, answer to, or take direction from builders, trades, or vendors.
I don’t take referral fees or kickbacks. If I recommend someone, it’s because they’re qualified — not because I benefit.
I don’t sell products or materials. My guidance is unbiased and free from financial incentives.
I don’t act as a general contractor on your project. I don’t pull permits, hire trades, or run crews. My role is oversight, clarity, and owner protection.
I don’t replace inspectors — I go beyond them. Inspectors check code minimums. I evaluate risk, quality, sequencing, and long‑term implications.
I don’t sugarcoat problems. You get clear, direct, defensible information — even when it’s uncomfortable.
I don’t disappear when things get complicated. Complex situations are where I do my best work.
My value comes from independence, experience, and the ability to see what others miss. That only works when the boundaries are clear.
